I responded in your previous thread from the Northern Cali person. Basically for a 30 minute commute you will be limited but I second the previous poster. East Brunswick, Old Bridge, Sayreville and possibly Matawan and Englishtown. If you can go further, I like Colts Neck and Holmdel but prices (and rents) are very high. Middletown may be a good medium but you are talking well over 30 minutes.

Edited to add: Reason taxes in Long Branch are low is the city is an Abbott district and we receive extra state funding. Not popular subject for those you live elsewhere. However, city is not a nice place to raise a family. Gangs, drugs, crime and poor schools.

I friend lives in monmouth walk... they pay approx 5k.. its a 2B, 2.5 bath with basement, no garage.
