It's nice if you like to live in a city that has had 20 murders in less than 2 months with a population under 79,000 people. This question has to be a joke(I HOPE).

Camden didn't go from the most dangerous city in America to the top 5. Maybe to the top 5 "dangerous" cities and that's not something to brag about.
Top five most dangerous cities. Everything is relative.

Usually in the top 3 towns in the US for stolen cars.
Although "Most people would not want to live/work/shop or even associate themselves with [it]" and "top 3 towns in the US for stolen cars" go oddly together. Just what is being stolen? Dodge Gremlins? Pintos? If there are cars around worth stealing, there must be the kind of folks around who can afford those cars, and who could choose to live/work/shop/associate elsewhere if they wanted.

It keeps ranking the nations poorest city as 9,000 per capita income. It has a nice history, it use to be popping, now it's pop-in. East camden is mostly peurto rican, this area isn't as bad as the rest of camden. But once you're driving and you cross the town line, the scenery changes. Many abandoned homes the trashiest you've seen. It has an industrial area near the river, home of cambells soup. In town there's new development by the state to boost camden economy and there's a couple neighborhoods being built. Many potholes. There's the tweeter center where bands come to perform. But outside camden has nice big old homes and it's expensive to live there.

look, this video was filmed in camden.

YouTube - Clipse featuring Ab-Liva and Rosco P. Coldchain-Hot damn

if you are puertorican/black you'll be fine in camden. i lived there for about 3 years. stayed in north and south camden (the worst areas). rent is sooo cheap that is why i was there. you can get a 3 bedroom home w/a mortgage of $400/month. lol. and with a short 20 minute commute to cherry hill, it is perfect. crime is crazy high. my car never got stolen or vandalized. you just have to blend in with the crowd. don't flash what you got, etc.

common street sense
