We don't have a car yet so here are the routes she has taken or plan to take.
94 bus to Roselle park train station. Roselle park to ---> Newark Penn station. Path from Newark to 14th street NYC
I just found out there's a 6:26am 95 bus on Morris ave/Stuyvesant Ave that is 2 stops to Newark penn station (about 20 min bus ride) she would then just hop on the path train to work
There is also a free shuttle to Union train station from Morris ave/Stuyvesant Ave she hasn't tried that out we don't know how long the ride is from Morris ave/Stuyvesant Ave to Union train station. If she takes this route she would then take the Union train to Newark penn then the path. Which works out to $82 monthly and path $84 = $166
Right now she is taking the 114 bus on Morris ave/Stuyvesant Ave with me to port authority where she then has to take the mta train 2 stops which isn't bad but its expensive its $199 a month for the bus and $99 for the mta train a month = $298
We are currently taking an uber to the bus stop (114 bus) in the morning since its cold outside so that is adding up as well. The 94 bus is walking distance from our home. But that bus hasn't been reliable (only tried 3 times but waiting outside for more than 1/2 hr in the cold you'll stop trying)
