With that many employees showing that conduct it is a management issue.
Without doubt, which is why the commander of the PA police was "reassigned" last month.
Reassigned to...what...I wonder...

Hopefully the full investigation will lead to more removals from office, loss of pension rights, and...maybe...some jail time for the lazy SOBs who endangered the public while sucking at the governmental teat.

All 44 are currently still on full pay while their cases are pending... are they even going to work, or is this an extended paid vacation for them?

You know better than that; short of being actually caught murdering a basket of kittens, PA LE cannot be touched. Their some kind of piece of union is already on the case calling this whole incident pretty much a "witch hunt".

Those forty some odd accused are enjoying a nice (paid) holiday break. When the dust settles maybe they'll pay a fine and or lose a few days vacation or something. Otherwise the upshot is as it is always; they'll be yapped at, and told "don't do this again", then be sent right back out to work.

A gang of jumped up and overpaid mall cops. Whole Port Authority needs to be cleaned out from top to bottom. These goofs are bleeding drivers and others of NYS and NJ dry, but no one has the balls to stand up to their unions. It is a disgrace that PA workers can still juice their pensions by working vast amounts of overtime in years before retirement. NYPD and others have tightened things up, but again no one wants to go toe to toe with the PA's unions.

If you think all of this is bad, just wait until the new Hudson River RR tunnel project gets started.

Maybe yes, maybe no.
If some of those lazy PA cops wind up being measured for orange jump suits by the feds, their union will be unable to protect them, and at that point, they would also lose their pensions.

I think for this one, some will definitely be sacrificed.
