This could explain a lot of the idiots I have seen on the Parkway driving way too slow lately.

In this case, statistically speaking, the OP is the more dangerous driver, since speeding is the cause of most accidents.
i dont know the statistics but it seems to me like the slow drivers appear to be the dangerous ones. i figure the slow driving is indicating that they arent comfortable driving.

I've heard this as well, for highway driving at least. Speeding but not driving like a maniac is not that dangerous. Speeding plus weaving and tailgating, etc., is what's dangerous.

Seriously, I was coming up Cherry Lane from Millburn, got behind someone doing 25mph (limit is 35, a lot of people do 45-50, what I do when no one's around is (fifth amendment)). Then out the driver's window comes smoke... and soon the distinct odor of weed.

That road has a lot of cops going up and down it too, so this loser was taking a considerable risk.
On the highway I think speeds above the speed limit are usually safer than going too slow.

But any road with a 35 mile-an-hour limit is dangerously foolhardy at 45-50. They are either curvy, have multiple lights and pedestrian crossings, driveways, or all three plus other hazards like school busses, bicycles, etc.
