How to make some extra income?
Here is the deal: I work from roughly 11am until 8pm M-F. But outside of this time I am on call basically 24 hours a day and I generally do get paged once or twice a day everyday outside of my regularly scheduled work hours.
I am trying to figure out how to generate some extra money within these hours. The important thing to remember is my primary job gets priority, and I need to be able to, if necessary within say 5-10 minutes be at a computer to take care of business.
So what this means is that I either need a job that is completely on my time, meaning I can start/stop generally when I want, or that the work is done from home or at a computer where I can work on my first job if/when necessary.
Any ideas?

I'm looking for the same thing, actually. In the past I've done millwork design, but that involves a pretty significant level of client interaction. I'm considering speaking with local area architects and providing drafting as design support as its similar to what I do during the daytime. Another route I may take is home AV design (high end) in a consulting/design/project management overview perspective (what I do during the day, but my office doesn't touch these types of projects so its ok).
Unfortunately, I can't think of much else at the moment. Unless you have some product to regularly and readily sell on ebay... *shrug* no idea.

Open a few adult websites- plenty of customers, you can manage them from anywhere at anytime, and the money just drops into your accounts. At least that's what I've heard........

Have you looked into that rebate processing thing? If it's real, $15.00 per rebate processed and it takes like 2 secs. EBay is another good avenue to look into. And if neither of those suit you, there's always the "Welcome to Walmart" position...they always seem to hire seniors with one foot in the grave - keep an eye on the obits...especially in areas closest your nearest Walmart : ))))

Just had a thought - anybody ever work for one of those remote call centers? The ones you work from home?
