Here is an article
In this case the art was not sold because the creditors accepted an influx of cash from private donors and the State of Michigan.

I also want to be clear- assets might not be sold however the potential exists. My main point is that creditors have a say in bankruptcy and to think bond holders and pensioners will just get cuts and nothing negative would happen to everyone else is naive.

That is my point,Detroit and the state are two different entities.It doesn't own the state park?

Yes, Christie is quite unpopular. I voted 2x for him, and can't say I was thrilled with his leadership. Nevertheless, I'd rather drink bleach than vote for Phil Murphy or any democratic candidate for any office in NJ. The Democratic Party Machine in NJ over the decades has turned this once great thriving state into a hell hole.

But he is running against Kim G a life time player of the NJ political system and known pension manipulator.
