Default Gay Bars/Clubs New Jersey

Can anyone suggest some good gay bars/clubs in new jersey. nothern nj would be great. Also I am from NYC so I never had to worry about this but how do you go out in NJ, have a great time, get a little drunk and then get home? cabs? I obviously won't be driving drunk but if I do get a little rowdy is a cab a possibility most times? let me know what u think

There's one in Boonton but it changed names and I don't know the new name : ( Was called Connexions.... train stops right at the door as well. Fridays are typically or use to be "guys" nights.

That's it! With a name like that - I suppose they are taking in curious straight people? How many toasters can one person have!

Feathers in River Edge (never been but I've heard it's pretty bad. haha)
The Cage in Hoboken
Star in Jersey City (very tiny place)
Bayside in Bayonne. Delightfully trashy haha.
Switch in Boonton. Cool setup but never much of a crowd

Those are the only ones I know in North Jersey. In Central Jersey there are a few more:

Colosseum in Sayreville (they have a "straight night," with rowdy teenagers from Staten Isl so be careful)
The Den in Somerset
A bunch of places in Asbury Park
And across the river in New Hope there's The Raven, an inn and bar/club complex.

seanmichaels85, are you living in Jersey now or will you have to get back to NYC after you're out? The places in Hoboken and Jersey City are PATHable. Elsewhere you'll have to get a cab or a DD to take you where you're going.
