Default North Wildwood, NJ - Looking to buy a condo...keep as rental

I'm new to the east coast and was considering buying a place somewhere on the shore to enjoy for a few weeks and keep as a vacation rental the rest of the time. I've read a number of posts on this board and found a lot of useful and interesting information. I would still love to get some more input from anyone who's willing.

I've only begun doing some research on the south Jersey shore but it sounds like North Wildwood could be a nice location. After reading some posts about the crowds and younger "riff raff" of the more central part of Wildwood, it seems like North Wildwood would be a bit calmer (which is more of my style). Is this true? Having said that, would North Wildwood be attractive to potential renters while I'm not using the condo? Obviously I would like to be able to get as much rent as possible but I'm not sure if a "higher end" renter would find Wildwood attractive or not.

It sounds like the Wildwood area is pretty packed over the summer...should I expect to be able to rent out my place easily (at a reasonable price)?

Any reason why I shouldn't look in North Wildwood?

Thanks so much!
