For the area, size of home and acreage, might I say this is a damn good value. The best I've seen on this thread, in fact.

To be fair my house is 50 years old and assessed at 280 thousand.

4 bedroom 2.5 bath split level. If you bought new construction around here your taxes would be signifigantly higher, but most of the town was constructed in the 50's

Beats paying 4500 for the little dinky twin we had in Riverton.

If you need to be convient to Philadelphia there's worse places you could live. Every independant school rating I've seen puts Cinnaminson right in line with Senaca/Lenape/Cherokee.

Also in Cherry Hill -- We pay 5,500. You must have a nicer home than us!
We've been here for 3 1/2 years and they have gone up quickly though.

Actually, my kid isn't old enough to go to school yet.
I do agree though, that we should be paying taxes based on the number of kids we sent to the school district. I'm getting hosed because I have house that the town assessed for over a million.

...actually, we haven't closed...yet! There are some problems that came out with the inspection.

We are ready to walk if the sellers don't fix the problem(s). I just logged on to realtor.com and there has been so many properties added just this week that I am concerned.

The taxes are high considering that we paid $9k in California; our house sold for $600k+

We'll see! I am so ready to just get an apartment at this point. We are in a winter rental so we don't have much time.

LOL! I never watched Big Brother. Was Adam a douche? (Is that still a bad word?) LOL!

~Thanks for asking though.
