less than one hour is tricky, but look at Parsippany

I work downtown and take a commuter bus downtown. To my area north of Wall Street, it's usually an hour to an hour 15 min. To the last stop by WTC1 I'd say its more like 75-90min. The good part about this commute is you don't have to transfer to a subway etc, the bus goes directly from Parsippany downtown
However - you're not going to find a commutable area with those requirements where the commute cost will be $300 or less. My bus ticket from Parsippany is $95 a week
