I have to tell you?
Gateway project was an Obama plan and as we all well know by now His Orangeness is intent on erasing any and or all of the previous administration's legacy possible.
My guess is sooner or later a new scheme will be announced, but will have TRUMP stamped all over it to let God and the world know who was responsible. |

Trump's infrastructure projects will all be paid for, built and operated by, the private sector, except for projects that will positively effect the Trump empire. These will be financed by the Feds and constructed and operated by the Trump Organization. I also expect we will see a number of Trump dams, bridges, etc.

His obsession with Obama mesmerizes me. It reminds me back in grade school when a girl would bully a boy that she secretly was in love with. I've read from anonymous sources in the administration that they can get him to do stuff because they'd say "Obama wouldn't do this". Supposedly that's why he ordered that botched raid in Yemen like a year ago. Someone told him "Obama wouldn't take the risk" so Trump was like "Oh yeah? Watch this". He is a strange orange small handed man. |

Trump rejected the proposal to fund New York and New Jersey's 1/2 share of the project's cost through a loan from the US government. If they want the tunnel to proceed, they'll have to issue municipal bonds with a guarantee of payment. No Mooching off the US taxpayers.

Both states contribute to the government cheese that aids cheap southern states. I guess in Trump America we should happily pay our taxes and see nothing in return. |
