The first thing tax agency asks is, "Do you own your own business"?
Apparently, even the light bulbs are deductible.

Really? Hummm, best call my accountant and tell him about that 10K I spent on bulbs last year..lol. I have a feeling your acct. was referring to the energy deduction. If you add new windows, insulation, etc., you can now get a nice deduction for it...was like 1500 last year.

Mine (or ours, really when you count my fiancee) is staying right here in the good ol' USA-New Jersey in fact! I'm lumping it into my down payment for my house...not that it will make much of a dent

It'll pay for the home inspection and money toward closing costs - Good job using it to get the housing market moving! Well done and congrats! Where you headed?

Even with the rebate, credit whatever it is, we still owe.

I'm taking my daughter to Disney World. I figured I'd follow Corzine and GW...just keep spending what you don't have. I haven't been on a "real" vacation in more than 5 years. I just made it 5 years cancer free and no one knows what tomorrow will bring so now that my daughter is 3, I want to have the enjoyment of seeing her soak in all that commercialism. My brother is covering our airfare so this $900 should cover most of our stay. The credit card bills will wait another month.
