It is a diverse community, the alpine school is rated a 10 and it also meets the affluent criteria.

In the context of the opening post I would guess well-to-do majority white with enough well-to-do non-whites to satisfy and project the self image of tolerance, inclusiveness and open mindedness without the hassles of living in, say, a diverse town such as Patterson?

Along with the community's visual appearance of an affluent small town in non-diverse Vermont or New Hampshire.

Hell, I'd like that myself, come to think of it.

With low taxes of course.
