Default Wayne NJ

Does North Road in Wayne NJ flood? How many blocks away from the rivers does the water usually go? What do you consider a good non-flooding area in Wayne? I know I can ask a realtor these questions, but I'd like to get a local's advice too! Thanks.

North Road is flood and there arent any good flood areas. Flood insurance is over $1000 a year on top or f taxes, shoudl avoid the ares that floof.

I remember it flooding years ago. That's about all I know. Usually the flooding is in the Mt.View section or Old Wayne. Most of Wayne years back was farmland-The Packanack Lake section at one time was summer vacation houses that people from NYC would use in summer. Eventually they were turned into year round homes. It was at one time a restricted community. Not any more though. If you need Terhune Elementary School, it's very good. WHH is good also. If they are the schools that you want there are other places to look that are affordable without flooding. Good Luck in your search. I know a good realtor if you need one.
