Hello, we are planning to move to Bergen County in the next year or so. Both of us have aging parents and were thinking about setting up an inlaw unit/accessory dwelling unit for them. From what I understand each town has their own position regarding allowing these. Does anyone know if there are any towns that allow this in Bergen County. I really have my eye on Wyckoff, so would be curious on their codes... but am also open to exploring nearby towns.
Thanks!

I can't speak for Bergen County, but based on my experience in Essex County, I think NJ in general is not very receptive to ADUs, unlike other parts of the country. You might have better luck buying an existing multi-family house.
