Hello all,

Does anyone have experience with the Gutter Guard product vs. the Leaf Filter (micromesh screen) product? I’m considering which is best - leaning towards Gutter Helmet but wanted advice. Costs for each in NJ dollars much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Your better off the old fashion way and just clean them once a year. They both will eventually clog and make more work.

After doing extensive research, I decided to not have them installed.

As the owner of a giant oak tree in the backyard, I wouldn't bother. We don't have any leaf protection in the gutters and just go deal with them once a year.

You'll be dealing with them once a year with any products installed up there anyway. It's a gutter, it's literally designed to catch things that fall on the roof. Asking it to not do that means it's going to just do the part you do want (rain and snow) poorly while still not solving your problem.
