Great shot of Barnegat Bay Ted. The pier really adds character to the shot.

Growing up in Cranford, the river was kind of a way of life. I remember canoeing. Fishing. As adolescents we would build little dams and wade into the river, catch crayfish, frogs, etc. What a great place to grow up. The quintessential American suburb for sure!
And the footbridges, there are a lot. I remember in Junior High, every day crossing the footbridge near Hillside Ave School. The "bad kids" would smoke Marlboros under the bridge. I actually wasn't too much of a bad kid until I reached high school Last time I walked that footbridge, years ago, there was still a big heart with "I Love Tommy C" (except they wrote my full name) written in whiteout in bubbly letters on the wood of the bridge. I never figured out who wrote that...
Ah, good times growing up.
