New Jersey Picture Thread
I'll see if I can get one started.
Some of you guys might not care, but looking through some other state forums, I noticed a good amount of them have a picture thread, and we don't, so I was thinking we should change that. I think it would be nice to see other parts of NJ than what I've seen - or even some that I have seen (I hate to think I'm alone on this). From anything and everything NJ related - nature/urban/suburbs/etc.
So what do you guys say? You all willing to share?
I'll start it off (mine aren't the best of quality, sorry. I tend to only take my phone and use its camera on my outings):
West Orange (February 15, 2008):
Montclair Art Museum (October 6, 2007):
West Orange/South Mountain Reservation [Mayapple Hill] (August 3, 2007):

Finally.
I never posted a pic before so I hope this works. I will start with the Navisink Bridge after it has been open for a few minutes to let a sail boat go by. Notice the cars backing up for a few hundred miles in each direction.
Next pic will be the Twin Lights Lighthouse in the Highlands where the pic of the bridge was taken.

Oh theres a great bar to stop when that bridge is up. Maybe it's Down the Hatch or up the hill, some one will know. I think this thread might last more than a day or two.

I thought the Navesink Bridge was at the end of Bingham Ave., connecting Rumson to Highlands. We always referred to this as the Sea Bright Bridge.
What's the status of the replacement, anyone know? No more opening and closing. Some of those summer weekend night backups were endless!

It all depends which side you're on, right?

Here are a few pictures off our dock on the Maurice River.
People who've never been down here can't believe these are from NJ.

Thanks. Down here it really is the boondocks. Not a bad thing but, even the Pineys are scared to come down this far...lol. I love every inch of it.
