Either ignoring recent history or subverting the right of owners ... the people with and w/o guns.... to ensure the government's position in the hierarchy where the people are the government's boss. Like a spare tire or fire extinguisher, you must have in case of an emergency that will probably never happen.

Countries who confiscated guns did so to control the people for nefarious intent. Those who think, 'that was then and this is now', are the exact people the phrase, " "Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it." was intended to enlighten

Gun control takes many forms and the words, 'you can keep your guns if you like your guns', is legacy to the government lie, 'if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor'.

Ineffective guns laws are intended to eventually accumulate to 'discourage' ownership while willingly sacrificing lives to achieve the theoretical goal of, no guns, no gun deaths.

LOL,NO , the answer is no they are not members of a well regulated Militia .Your spin is so bad it's amusing.
