Gun control takes many forms and the words, 'you can keep your guns if you like your guns', is legacy to the government lie, 'if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor'.


Ineffective guns laws are intended to eventually accumulate to 'discourage' ownership while willingly sacrificing lives to achieve the theoretical goal of, no guns, no gun deaths.

but i assume you are trying to say a government controlled military entity. if that were the case, then they wouldnt need to 2nd amendment because the government wouldnt need special protections to allow itself to own guns. the constitution limits the ability of government to infringe on people's rights; its not to limit the government from infringing on the government's rights.
