It appears more and more likely that the school funding formula will be changed and this will affect two areas where I am considering purchasing a condo(West New York and Jersey City).
Would you shy away from purchasing in these areas? Do you agree that is likely?
Not looking into getting into the politics of this, strictly whether this is likely and if so what the impact will be on the housing market in these places.

Only a guess but I would imagine the tax burden will become more realistic, fair and in line with the rest of NJ.

I can't see it driving the housing values down but maybe some realtors will chime in with their thoughts.
