Any thoughts on 7th and adams? any safety concerns? I know the projects are somewhat close on Jackson.

I'm looking to rent in the Lexington building there at 619 adams street.

Totally fine. My friend used to live right there.

The area is fine, and improving. I'm between 7th & 8th on Grand, and it is mostly families with lots of new construction condos going up. There is occasionally a homeless person or two that hangs out to drink on the back side of the HS or behind CVS, but we've never felt threatened in any way. Jackson is still 4 blocks to the west, so you don't need to be concerned there.

My only half compaint with the neighborhood is that there is a lack of amenities in the immediate (2-3 block) vicinity. Grand Vin is nice, but there aren't yet any other nicer restaurants or bars since Jack's went out last year. Hopefully that will change with all of the new development, but this was our biggest adjustment coming from the NE quadrant which was expoding with new restaurants and bars.
