That's the ocean temp where I live. I don't think that's dangerously cold. Just wondering if it'll feel uncomfortable.

Depends, how warm do you like your water? Everyone's different.

No, seems normal for this time of year. As soon as you're in and go fully underwater you'll be fine.

Just me but it would be determined by the temp outside the water, get my drift?

"Danger of Cold Water
After two hours in 60-degree Fahrenheit water, your risk of unconsciousness and death by drowning increases to 50 percent. When water is cold, your body sends more blood to your core -- away from the muscles in your limbs that you need for swimming. You can tolerate cold-water swimming for more time when wearing a wet suit, neoprene cap, gloves and booties. For example, USA Triathlon permits competitors to wear wet suits in water colder than 78 degrees."

Interesting.

Way too cold. I like the "bath water" of the tropics where you can just walk right in without feeling the cold shock.

Dare you to put your hand in 50 degree water and hold it there was a 2 minutes.

Cold water kills!

So many dive into cooler water and never resurface.

Depends on your health.

slowly immersing yourself while splashing cool water on your face, allows some to acclimate to cold water.

Constant immersion, heat flows out of your body and hypotherma ensues, you become weak and unconscious.

Paddlers tossed out of their boats, despite floation/PFDs, die every year for lack of thermal protection warmer than 60 degrees.
