We live in Jersey City right now. My wife works in NYC right in Herald sq and I drive to Clifton right by Rt3 and Parkway. We were looking at Mountainside, Bridgewater, Watchung, Green Brook, Berkley Heights and pretty much stretch along Rt 78. We have a one year old daughter. I have been living in JC since 1994 and now looking to move for better schools. Can someone help me answer these questions?
1) commuting to NYC from mountainside
2) How's the school and do the kids still to go Berkley Heights High School?
3) Mountainside Flood zone area?
4)Traffic getting to rt 78 from Mountainside?

Thank you in advance.

Thanks. How do I read this map? Legend key doesn't tell me what each color means.

If you're really going to get into flood zones you're going to have to get better at using search engines.
https://snmapmod.snco.us/fmm/documen...efinitions.pdf

Most of Mountainside is X, which means there is no flood zone, only down by the rivers. Because, well, they're rivers.

To be honest, 1 and 2 you can pretty much google for yourself. #4 you'd have to follow traffic patterns on maps like Google or Waze during rush hours to get a better idea.

I get it, but you're also going to be better off doing some of the easy ground work yourself. Sometimes people like to troll others online with data that might not be useful and having some idea already of the facts will let you sort out the wheat.
