Your experience is West Caldwell. Of course West Caldwell has no young population, a 900sq ft house starts at $700k in that town. Its the area people move when they're 45 to raise a family and leave when they retire to move down south.
Did you hatch or were you delivered to a pumpkin patch by a stork, OP? There must be at least 2 baby boomers to whom you should be grateful! (if not parents, then your parents' parents aka your grandparents)
You have too much time on your hands...get moving kiddo and do something with your life before you are old and walking with a cane!
He's complained about shoveling snow, cutting grass, his parents in general, says bad things about his mom, and constantly complains about living in New Jersey.
There are worse places. I've lived in them.
Not holding the door for the guy with the cane is inexcusable. My son would never do that. I've seen him run to doors to help women with strollers. He's a really nice guy.

Essex County sucks if your not rich. The rest of Essex is all ghetto. Everywhere else in Essex is a rich neighborhood.
I also seen a lot of Florida visitors going to the ShopRite in West Caldwell. West Caldwell is the Florida of NJ.

At the same time, I do feel badly that I blew right past the man and never held the door for him. I am still in shock about that till today.
i think that i echo the sentiments of many other nj residents when i urge you to leave the state a.s.a.p., so that you can achieve eternal happiness in the golden west. Just be sure to bring your asbestos clothing.
Have you considered a go fund me page in order to be able to accelerate your departure?
2. These old New Jerseyans death stare at me and my car acting like I am doing something wrong although I am doing anything wrong in the parking lot.
You were doing something wrong in the first post. You were blocking the sidewalk.
Lesson #42342 in "How to be a Decent Human"
If you're blocking the sidewalk "so you can see" and people come walking along, back up and make way for them to use the sidewalk. Then, once they have walked by, move back into position to "see" and enter traffic when safe and clear to do so.
I feel that most of NJ is overpopulated due to the amount of Baby Boomers who were born, grown here, and lived their entire lives here. Everywhere I go in NJ it's annoying..
Thanks for your "opinion". Don't let the door hit you where the Good Lord split you on your way out of the state to somewhere that pleases your delicate sensibilities.
