We couldn't even get Southern New Jersey. New Jersey Suburbs of Philadelphia is it.
I grew up in South Jersey, and now live up in North Jersey, however most people up north have no idea that South Jersey even exists. They say "where are you from", I say "South Jersey" then I'm met with the response "which beach did you grow up at?" I respond "no the suburbs of Philadelphia" and am met with the response "oh, never knew there was anything there".
I don’t see why we couldn’t get a “Jersey Shore” sub forum. Cape May County alone does not warrant its own forum, but add in the other Shore Counties, and I think that could make sense.

Jersey Shore sounds good. Please add.
I grew up in Cherry Hill. I have lived and worked in all of the three areas of NJ (at least how I describe them). My feeling is that South Jersey is the area south of the Rancocas River (or creek if you will). North Jersey is the areas and communities north of the Raratan River. Everything in between is Central Jersey. Of course you have SW Jersey (Salem county for example) and NW Jersey (Delaware Water Gap) that is very different than the rest....... And as mentioned, there is the Jersey Shore, although IMHO Cape May is very different than Sea Side. Pt. Pleasant Beach different than Wildwood, etc.
Anyway since I spent a lot of time in Naples and Myrtle Beach I am active in those forums. If you want to see how a state's forums can be expanded check out the SC and FL forums.
Personally I think we should only have one section for the entire state. It’s not that large and the suburbs of philly section has posts from May still on the first page

I agree. Also, the more we split up the forum, the more threads will devolve into arguments over whether they’re in the right section. I’ve been around long enough to see that no two people agree on where the boundaries between different regions of NJ lie.
