A bit off topic, but do yourself a favor and avoid Henry County. Clayton County next door is loosing its school accreditation, and there's a mass exodus to the surrounding areas. Henry County isn't the greatest locale to begin with, and let's just say that your "new neighbors" in Henry County aren't likely to be folks you'll want to be living around, as the folks that can afford better areas aren't the one's moving there........
If there's nothing locking you into the southern burbs, I'd turn your search upside down and head north of the city toward Cherokee County. Let me know if you need any advice on locations.

Listen to me (and your nephew....lol) and avoid the area. Anywhere up near him from Kennesaw out toward Dallas or Hiram would work too. What're y'all doing for work once you get here? DM me if you want to avoid clogging up the thread with posts- we don't want to tick off the Jersey folks.....lol.

Ahhh..they'll get over it! I will be running my company from down there for awhile...try to sell my share or just dissolve if Jersey stays this bad : ( My better half is a paid soccer coach/trainer. I will eventually look to work for some small contracting company... was hoping a home builder but I doubt there's huge demand for that anywhere at the moment : ) I saw a few homes in Dallas I liked and some up North in Cherokee. My nephew in Kennesaw is thinking about moving closer to Lawrenceville? They make too much money and need to buy a larger house for tax purposes... both under 30 and pulling in over 200K/yr. between them! Not bad for living in GA. I also have pals in Cumming. They tell me that's the place to move to.
