Rahway, Woodbridge train station parking and bus to NYC
Where can one get parking around or near Rahway and Woodbridge train stations? Also, are there any buses that run from the Woodbridge area to NYC Port Authority? I am currently looking for a 1 bedroom apartment in the area and work in midtown Manhattan.
I also looked at Linden, didn't like the town that much, even though Linden train station did have parking.

Parking is tough in Woodbridge unless you get to the lot by around 6:30 at the latest. You'd be better off going out of Metropark in Iselin, where I've never had a problem finding parking regardless of the time of day. The commute times are identical for Woodbridge and Metropark.
Rahway built a large parking deck recently, but I can't comment on how full it gets, as I've never gone out of there.

If I were to live in Woodbridge go to Metropark, would that be doable every day? I know traffic around metropark gets pretty bad (wood ave.).

It's not bad at all- just don't come off Wood Avenue. Depending on where in Woodbridge you are, you can jump on the Parkway and get off at Exit 131A, which slides right into the parking deck, or come up Green Street to Middlesex/Essex Tpk. In either case, it's not a bad ride.

You shouldn't have trouble finding parking at Rahway, either. I got there today at 9:45 this morning, and there were still spaces. It's been a year since I paid for monthly parking there, but when I did, it was $65/month.

You can always find a spot in Rahway
If you want to get a monthly parking pass you have
to apply at the Rahway Parking Authority
As for the bus
I don't know about All of Woodbridge
but the 115 bus from Rahway into Port Authority Starts in Avenel (part of woodbridge) and runs along St Georges ave

Is there a waiting list to get a monthly parking pass? I am thinking of buying a house in Rahway & would be commuting to the city daily.

I found out from the Rahway Parking Authority that there is a waiting list for train station parking. So my next question is, are there any shuttles or buses to the train station from other sections of Rahway? I will be living on the other side of 1 & 9.

The waiting lists are only for the monthly parking permits, which are slightly less expensive than just paying the daily rate. You can always find parking in the daily lot, so just put in your application, park in the daily lot until you get your permit, and then you can start saving a few $$. I'm sure there are buses from some areas to the train station, but they're probably more of a PITA than they're worth.
