What towns surround Wyckoff? I know Midland Park and Franklin Lakes. Does it touch part of Waldwick or Oakland? Thanks in advance!

Yes, both.

Wiki says it borders eight different towns but doesn't say which, so I'll try. Besides the three up there, I can think of Midland Park, Ridgewood, Hawthorne, Ramsey, and I can't think of what the last might be. I don't think it borders Mahwah at any point.

I suppose I COULD find a map...

ETA: North Haledon.

OK, I was wrong here. Oakland does NOT touch Wyckoff. After I saw someone said Allendale, I knew they were right because I just went that way recently to get around a detour, so one of the others had to be wrong.

Here's the zip code map.

I live in North Haledon, can absolutely recommend it, though school situation isn't so good so unless your kids are in private schools it makes it tough to consider (unless you want to homeschool like my family did).

Would also check out Wayne near Alps Road Area, or towards the high schools. Safe place, good schools, passaic county so taxes are lower

Property taxes in Passaic County are high, especially in Wayne! Honestly some of the worst I've seen in this area. I have seen Wayne home listings in the 550K-700K range with 20-28K yearly property taxes. It's not common to see homes in that price range in Bergen County with property taxes that high

Perhaps a 700K home in Wayne would cost 1M in Bergen county and both will have the same taxes.

My family was looking into Wyckoff but noticed a pub when driving through the town. Not that this makes a big difference, but does anyone know how many bars Wyckoff has and what time they close at?
