I have to be in Eatontown at 8:30 Friday morning for a seminar. I will be commuting from Warren Co. The obvious route is 31S to 78E to 287S to GSP etc. Google says 1:15-1:40. Is this realistic? I was planning on leaving at 6:30, should I leave earlier? I know some days it takes me almost an hour to get to 287, but Friday morning commutes seem a little lighter. I travel 31S to 78E to 287N daily, but have no idea what 287S and the GSP are like at that time of the day. Thanks for any advice.
I would check traffic status online before you go or on the way and if for some reason theres some big delay southbound on the G (gsp) you could always get off 287 to Easton Ave and take NJ 18 down, same mileage but about 15 mins longer due to lights on part of that.
Usually any delays are more NB than SB on the G that way.
I would think 2 hours would be plenty of time. There will also be no traffic heading south on the GSP from 287 to Exit 105.
Really? That's good to know. I would have thought it would be a disaster.

Yes, I plan on checking. Thanks for the alternate route.
