Anesthesia, how far away are the neighbor's houses? Are there a lot of mature trees and large shrubs? The strobe lights should work, but they'd have to be facing outward and away from the fence to keep deer out. You don't want to annoy the neighbors. Strobes in the yard should cause them to leave, but that doesn't mean that they'll jump back over the fence. Is your yard, fenced area, large enough for them to gain enough speed to jump out? If not, they'll just kick their way out again.
Maybe by next year they'll realize that you have a dog.
Yesterday, we took our fall foliage ride to High Point State Park, and--unfortunately--the colors were already "past peak". Additionally, the winds at the summit were so strong that we spent very little time eyeing the 3-state view. The only really good thing about that visit was that I found a beautiful amethyst crystal, approximately 1.5 inches long, on the ground.
As to wildlife, we saw none on that drive, but when we arrived back home, we were treated to the sight of two bucks chasing a doe down my street!

It’s large enough, but I have a lot of plants and trees, so I dont think there are many clear pathways without obstacles.

I retired 2 years ago and we took a two week trip to Prince Edward Island in Canada and my daughter wanted to see a Moose really bad . We drove up through Maine and on up and never saw a thing,not even a deer! Like you once we came back we actually saw a deer in our own backyard ,..never before in the last 28 years.
This guy strutted across readington rd, taking his time, making cars stop. there was love in those eyes. This other deer was heard to whisper, 'I'd swim the ocean for your love"

About 20 years ago, I took an extended road trip to Nova Scotia, and we saw very little of the wildlife that I wanted to see. I really wanted to see a Moose, and thought that Nova Scotia would be a place for a likely sighting--or two. No Moose revealed themselves in Nova Scotia, but on the way back home, as we were driving south along I-95 in Maine, there was a Moose no more than 20 feet from the roadway, feasting on some plants in a marshy area. The sighting was... literally... fleeting, but at least I finally got to see a Moose!

Earlier this year I took a ride in Canada to go look for a moose where everyone else said they had been seeing them. Drove for an hour through moose territory. Not one to be seen. Stopped and had lunch at a little cafe, where the owner told us, "Oh yeah, they're all along the road at this time of year, licking the salt." Not when I'm looking for them, they aren't.
The person I visit is in his 60s, has lived in Ontario all his life and has seen exactly two moose.
At least last winter I heard something up there I'd never before heard in my life in New Jersey--wolves howling and then yipping in the night as they evidently chased down and made a kill. Sent chills up my spine, but it was cool, too. And a bit sad. After that night, we didn't see the buck again who'd been making regular treks through the yard.
