Thank you Tahiti. Suggestions for locations would also be appreciated. Some have said perhaps New Hope is a little too far for some and others have expressed an interest in doing a Public Park Picnic / BBQ outing. I was actually thinking of Schooley's Mountain Park in Long Valley - Washington Twp. Morris County as they have a huge gazebo - large enough to fit a huge party in the event the weather isn't that great on the date we choose. There is also a lake for swimming which has lifeguards in case anyone wants to bring the kids along as well.

That sounds like a good idea - and likely a little later would be a better timeframe anyways for most. My random conflict was just that, I'm open to most weekends

I'm pretty much up for anything. Just tell me where and when to show up. Hmm, that's EXACTLY what my husband said when we got married.

Great idea Wiley, I love Schooley's Mtn Park. July or August would be great. The only date I have a conflict is August 9th as it's my niece's Sweet 16 party, can't miss that one.

Sounds like a picnic in the park suits most but if that if what we are going to do, I'll need a head count and a firm date as I will need to reserve a space for us and obtain a permit so we can get "sloshed"... alcohol permitted with permit only - lol : ) Here is the website for Schooley's Mountain Park - Morris County Park Commission Schooley's Mountain County Park

Personally I prefer sooner rather than later. Summer weekends = conflicts for many. Before Memorial Day would be ideal, IMO.

Wiley, just curious, are you planning to book the lodge or just the outdoor covered picnic area?
