Panera Fresh...
I worked with the airlines for over ten years, one day, between flights, (at Liberty Int'l ) I ran into a Panera Bread store and bought their basic garden salad, I tossed, mixed in the dressing and began to devour, then, upon seeing the bottom of the plastic container, saw, at least ten lady bugs, dead, of course, floating in the remaining salad dressing... I thought, how many of these creatures did (I eat, AND, (Auggh) what is their protein content?

Oh that is so gross. I once orderd a pizza in NYC for us to eat during a meeting. We were half way through it when we noticed a cockroach baked into the cheese on the other side.

Lady bugs tend to stay on lettuce. They actually eat the smaller, pesky bugs that ruin crops for farmers.

Sounds like they did not clean it at all. Good prepared lettuce should be soaked in ice water for some time to help avoid this issue.

This is so funny. But that doesn't sound like Panera's. Did they give you a free meal? Lady bugs can't harm you.

Aesthetically, to be sure! But aren't both ladybugs and cockroaches members of the beetle family?
