God personally informed me that he is withholding snow until Bergen County gets rid of its archaic Blue Laws.

The worst winter weather in NJ almost always occurs in the second half of winter and tends to linger into early Spring. It's not unheard of to have snow in early April.

I remember a horrific blizzard on Easter Sunday in April. Crazy.

That was a long time ago. I was camping with my brother that weekend. We lost a lot of equipment, stuff, which became covered by snow. Shivering and freezing during the night, my brother ordered me to share his sleeping bag. The temperature had plummeted. The family dog happily slept in mine.

My brother and I took turns carrying the terrier back to the car. The snow became so deep that he could no longer walk or jump through it.

Amazingly, after a bit of shoveling, the VW Beetle got us back home.

It was the only time that I've never seen another car on the road.

Yup it was a long time ago. I ended up walking home from work from 52nd and 6th to 2nd and B. Luckily it was just snowy, not terribly cold.

The consideration by some to lift the blue laws invites Santan to Bergan county causing global warming from the portal of Hell.

I'm already thinking spring. To that end, I've already purchased two bags of Milorganite for my lawn.
