Where is the snow this season? Last time we had snow was basically on November 15 and nothing since then in most of the state. Looks like mild and boring winter so far this season!

Bring on the snow and snowdays!!

I’m perfectly happy with the way this is going so far! We have had a lot of rain though.

We've had our weekly weekend downpouring rain just like the summer so there's no drought. Snow is bad for our infrastructure, it destroys roads, exhausts township supplies, and kills people on the highways.

No insult intended but how old are you? I am fine with snow up till Dec 25 and then I don't want to hear the word! Had the temps been colder with all this rain even the most devout snow person would be tired of it!

I don't care if a single snowflake falls between now and April first so long as the ground stays frozen until then. Unfortunately, looking at the long range forecasts recently I don't see that happening. There's already little hope for ice fishing even in late February at this point.

While I don't relish dealing with snow in a work context or with regard to home maintenance (I have a 1/4 mile + to clear out to the road), I do love hunting in the snow, playing with my kids in it, running the dog, and just sitting and drinking a cup of coffee looking out the window.

No snow or ice means no salt in our freshwater streams and lakes from overzealous municipalities playing to the cries of resident snowflakes.

thus the term, 'the vagaries of the weather'.

February will hear you commenting about the lack of snow this winter and feel diss'd. Don't be surprised if Feb colludes with March to make up for the warm, rain drenched early winter.

I'll take the weather we have had so far this year. We can have no snow and I would very happy.

I love these types of winters (cold, no snow)

But I'm sure the storms are coming! Still 10 weeks to go
