Wildwood does not allow the kind of parties they did back in the day. Both Wildwood and Sea Isle are still bar towns/college towns, but a group of 10 kids partying all night? Cops will be called, guaranteed.
People don’t realize most of the old homes that used to be rented by kids have been replaced by new construction, most people will not let their $600,000 home be trashed. People want families now, Wildwood has made a concerted effort to attract them.
I would add Belmar to that list. Not as bad as SH, but it's up there.
True. One evening I was taking the train home from the city, and there were all these loud, rowdy 20-somethings on the train with cans of beer. I asked the conductor why there was such an unusual infestation, and he said, "Tuesday night, 25 cent beers at some bar in Belmar."

LOL, well back in the 70's GEPPS a Bar in Belmar had 25 cent drafts but you had to by 4 at a time, they were 10oz drafts of Schlitz()
Seaside might be the only place that fits this description at this point. Belmar especially, and even Manasquan, used to be as recently as the 90s. Various other places as well. But now, this type of thing has been eradicated everywhere except seaside. Belmar is way different now. Its not a bad place for a bunch of single 20 somethings to get a summer rental, but the partying at the house can't really happen. Just do beach at day and bar hop at night and that is it.
