How about the park behind Fort Lee High School, climbing the cliffs, or Bagel Nosh,
Does anyone remember the first HOUSE ( youth center ) just off of Main and Lemoine?
I remember trips to Frivolous Sals in Pal Park, or maybe Leonia they would give you those corny little hats.

I remember Bagel Nosh! I used to Love that place. Then there was another small bagel shop on Palisades Ave that was great also. Remember the old Jerrys Pizza? It used to be open till two AM. Buddy Hackett used to go there all the time and even mentioned it on the Johnny Carson show. Its a shame Calahans closed down, but after they branched out and started opening other stores it kind of went down. Even though I only go one in a blue moon I hope Hirams hangs in there.
Libby's near the Paterson Falls (now the Great Falls), Falls View East, Johnny and Hangies - all for 'dogs away'. The 'new' Johnny and hangis is okay, they actually have an explanation of the 'away dog'.
Does anyone remember shopping at "Valley Fair" Back in the day? It was in South Hackensack or Little Ferry I think.
Sure. By the Little Ferry circle on Rt. 46. My parents use to take us to the drive in movie theater over there. Do you remember the famous Rosie's Diner which was also nearby? They used to film the Bounty Paper Towels commercials there.
And another old memory: My parents would always take us to the Old Mill on Paramus Road in Paramus during the summer to go swimming. Now that was one hopping place in the 60's and early 70's. When I drive past it now it's really sad to see the state it's currently in. Totally abandoned, run down and nothing more than a great big hole in the ground with some stagnant water.
So many north Jersey folks here, I have to speak up for central Jersey....
Two Guys on Rt 9 in Manalapan
Steinbachs in Manalapan Mall also on rt 9
Working weekends at the Englishtown Auction, what a trip
The sounds of summer - hearing the cars from the other side of tow - Raceway Park, Englishtown
Someone already mentioned Long Branch Pier and the Haunted House!
Manasquan Beach - what was the name of the club there?
The Freehold traffic circle - I heard it's gone?
