I grew up on those ads.... I also recall that when Eddie Antar was on the run from several criminal indictments, cops were regularly tipped off to 'his' whereabouts, but arrived to find that it wasn't Eddie Antar but the Actor (forget his name) who was well known for those (then groundbreaking) TV ads.

Yes there is a difference.......Beefsteak Charlies I think was t he one that you can throw peanuts or popcorn on the floor (one or the other) it was really kinda stupid. Charlie Browns is ok kinda like an applebees and others along that line

I don't remember throwing peanuts or pocorn on the floor at Beefsteak Charlies-that was Ground Round.

ahhhhhhhhhhh thats it I knew spmeone would figure it out then I was never at Beefsteak Charlies but I did hear of them. Ground Round sucked anyway. Thanks Nicole

I loved Ground Round when I was about 6, Grandma used to take me there .

True- I used to eat at the Ground Round all the time as a kid in Toms River- think they had one of those pay by the pound gimmicks. Also they had ice cream sundaes in Yankee helmets.
