Can anyone tell me if they tore down the Jersey Freeze to build the Olive Garden? I hadn't heard anything about it since the end of last year, and I can't seem to find anything recent online...
Jersey Freeze is still open. Haven't heard when they will be closing. So sad...they have the best ice cream cakes!

OK South Jerseyans..............does anyone remember Sunnyside Farms in Burlington?

Gosh, I can still smell the cows...................it was so fun to go there for the best chocolate milk in the world, a hand dipped ice cream cone and a visit with the cows that provided the milk for these things.

Unfortunately, I learned today that Wall Stadium (Wall Twp Speedway) is now a Jersey institution of yesteryear as management closed the racetrack down. I guess the decision was made back in March, but i just heard about it today.

Darned shame! That place holds many a Saturday night memory for this old race fan.

And while I'm at it, I also have fond memories of Wednesday night racing at the old New Egypt Speedway. Can't forget the Race of Champions at Trenton Fairgrounds Speedway. Also dirt trackin' at Flemington.

Sorry to see the short tracks dying out.

I too have very fond memories of both tracks as a child/teen with my parents.
