Default I work in Easton, PA... His terrority covers NJ+

My fiance currently lives in Langhorne, PA. I just got a job in Easton, PA (about 1 1/4 hours north). I'm relocating from Michigan and will be making the commute until the lease is up in a few months. Any insight on apartments to rent in NJ within 45 min. of Easton? A safe neighborhood convenient to shopping, restaurants, etc. is a must. We would like to spend around $1500/month on a 2 bedroom, but may be willing to go up to $2000/month max for the right place.

Thanks in advance!!!

Clinton would probably work great for you. You could probably rent a nice condo or even a townhouse for that price. Very convenient to Route 78. Hunterdon County is a very nice and safe area.

Seeing that you would be reverse commuting, you could probably look as far east as Bridgewater and Bedminster. There are tons of condos/townhouses in those towns, lots of shopping opportunites, restaurants, etc.

Right now he lives in Langhorne because it's convenient for him, but it won't be convenient for me because it's more than an hour from Easton. Since his sales territory in mainly the state of NJ, eastern PA (mainly Philly area), and NYC we thought it would be better to move to NJ so it would be a central location for him. We originally thought we could move further north in PA, but that really moves him into someone else's territory. Trust me, we have thought about taxes!

Hunterdon County, Specifically Clinton Twp are ideally located, and very scenic as well. There are many rentals available in this area.
