Default Power Drink Law Coming

Can you believe the jerkoffs in Trenton have nothing to do but try to pass a law banning caffeine power drinks to anyone below the age of 18. Like we have nothing else to do but have our police enforce a law of 17 year olds drinking power drinks. Wake the F up we have a bad property tax problem and they sit around discussing the energy drinks. Maybe we will have a raid on the football team drinking power drinks. This state sucks. Not because of the people, but the **** heads politicians.

I have some time ago come to the unsettleing conclusion that there is very little these A$$ clowns in Trenton won't get themselves involved in if there's Any chance of gaining even a little bit of control and money. Of course ,as in this case, it's all for the good of (fill in the blank here) group and so we'd all be heartless fools to question their motives. Sadly as much as a NJ area fan as I am, I see no way out other than to cut my loses and get out.

I searched for a link as I was interested in this as well. All I could find was a blurb from NBC10

State May Ban Minors From Energy Drinks - HealthWatch News Story - WCAU | Philadelphia

Why not ban coke and pepsi while you're at it? These politicians are just ridiculous.

This idiotic assemblyman wants to ban these drinks because there is too much caffeine and it is harmful to children. What is next? Gatorade because there is too much sugar? Moron.

How about crime and drugs? Aren't they harmful to children? What about parents having to work a zillon hours a week to pay taxes in NJ and thus not able to spend as much time with their children? Why not do something about that tough guy?

Hey look at New York- They spend millions of tax payer dollars to ban transfats in restaurants and make it mandatory for calorie counts on all menus.
Its absolutely sad that people cant make their own decisions on what to eat anymore.
If you want to eat healthy - eat healthy- If I want a Damn cheeseburger dripping with grease shut up and let me buy it!!!
Bluestate Northeast at its best!

Oh, it's true..... Attempts being considered to stop kids from getting energy drinks - South Jersey - NJ.com (http://www.nj.com/southjersey/index.ssf/2008/04/attempts_being_considered_to_s.html - broken link)

"Assemblyman Ralph Ca****, an Essex County Democrat"..... yawn, stretch...

If 3/4 of these positions, freeholder, assemblyman, etc were loped off tomorrow, no one would notice. Maybe there should be a new referendum on dissolving some of these governmental positions.

The biggest joke is the guy they pay to change the "fire danger" sign at the parks. I'm paying for a guy to tell me there is "low, medium, high" fire risk.
