A regular Cheers. Thanks for educating us. Any young person should avoid Peapack with it's access to a higher educational attainment, established neighborhoods and wealthy families. Yup, move down to the shore to hang out with Snookie. Perhaps open a tattoo removal service and clean up.
First of all, who was advocating for her to move down the shore? Exactly NOBODY.

Second, there is no "SNOOKIE" vibe in the places like Somerville, Morristown, Bedminster, etc. etc. And there is plenty of "access to a higher educational attainment, established neighborhoods and wealthy families" in all those places too...the difference is, there are also a lot more younger, single people, and choices for younger single people in and around those areas, than in Peapack.

Third, you are a SNOB. Do you really think the alternative towns suggested in this thread are full of drunks, losers, and people not intelligent enough to know better? Sure, DannyHobkins hangs out in Morristown...but so do I, so it balances out. These are all upper middle class educated areas.

Fourth, Speaking of drunks, DUIs and recreational drugs...have you ever been to the Far Hills Races? The booze and drugs are free flowing. Some of those blue bloods could drink Snooki under a table. It's a good thing they happen to have the connections to dodge their DUIs. Rich people have all the best booze and coke. Where have you been? Maybe you turn a blind eye in one of the private tents.

Fifth, update your pop culture references. Snooki & Jersey Shore were last decade's old news. OP's daughter was in the 6th grade when Snooki was fist pumping at the shore. You're so 2000 and late.

Sixth, what is your beef with Snooki? Yeah, she partied down the shore when she was 22. She still managed to find a mate in her 20s, get married, have 3 kids, and is now living in button-down Florham Park, raising her kids in the Catholic tradition and living that suburban nuclear family life. You should give her a gold star.

thank you everyone for the replies about living in Peapack! She was applying for a job there and I was not sure how close it would be to neighboring cities. Glad to know there are some options. I appreciate everyone's input! Have a great day.
