My horn in the car has gotten alot more usage these days in NJ. Half the time a traffic light changes green and the car in front is not moving. Had to honk to get people off their phones. These people are not slow, they jetted away pretty quick.

One lady in front I had to honk at her at every traffic light because she must be too preoccupied with texting instead of driving.

This has become a plague.

Well, what else are people supposed to do if they’re sitting bored at a traffic light??

Seems like an improvement if they're only on their phones when stopped.

problem is not when stopped but when driving along curvy, double yellow marked roads and in your lane.

Crossing the double yellow is all about disregard for human life.

then again a PA car driving on 202N was using exaggerated hand movements, mouth going a mile a minute, up the guys butt when traffic slowed and on the shoulder and back when it was moving. Com devices will be the death of someone.

So much for laws. Laws apparently do not prevent these criminal acts.

I haven't noticed it much. I find that most of the slow driving you see in NJ is distracted driving. Whenever people get distracted, they tend to back off on the accelerator. I've noticed this with the out of staters that come to NJ such as NY and PA drivers. Pennsylvanian Honda Civics are the worst! I always thought slow driving is an "old fart" way of driving, but it's usually everybody, because people are distracted. I use my phone, but I will still glance at the light all the time and put that phone down instantly when it is green, then place my other hand on the steering wheel.
