Then every thread will turn into an argument over what should be North Jersey, Central Jersey, or South Jersey and the OP won't get an answer to the question they asked. Because NOBODY in New Jersey can agree on what is north, south, or central. Picture this hypothetical situation, repeated dozens of times daily...

New Thread, posted in the North Jersey forum:

OP: Hi, is Woodbridge a nice place to live?

Respondent 1: This is the North Jersey forum and Woodbridge is in Central Jersey.

Respondent 2: Nuh uh, Woodbridge IS in North Jersey!

Respondent 3: No, Woodbridge is Central Jersey! And so is Rahway!

Respondent 2 again: Noooo!!! Everything north of Cherry Hill is North Jersey!

Respondent 4: You crazy! Newark is South Jersey!

Respondent 5: Central Jersey doesn't exist!

Respondent 6: You can smell Staten Island from Woodbridge, so it's North!

Respondent 7: You can order pork roll in Woodbridge, so it's south!

OP: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A South Jersey subforum doesn't exist. The Philly burbs doesn't sound like something that covers the beaches or lower counties.

i think we need a sub forum for every single town in new jersey and then within those sub forums we should have sub sub forums for each section of all the towns. i really dont want to talk to you people, i want to talk to holmdel people and not just any holmdel people, i dont want to talk to those losers north of 35.

And for all the people on the north side of Holmdel, get your own forum! Southside is the real Holmdel!

We should have a subforum for each school district, ~660. That's the "Jersey Way"!

Same.

Plus this sub forum is very against New Jersey cities. We’re a very anti urban state, which is weird since this is the most urban state in the union.

I feel like I would really get a kick out of the "but where is the border for Central Holmdel?!" threads though...

Subforums never work. I'm a member of many different forums similar to this one and where people have created subforums there is always a ton of overlap between them, or the subforum gets completely ignored. Overall there is really not that much activity on this forum to warrant the need for any subforums. If people would just take the time to use a meaningful name when starting a thread, then people can easily decide which ones they want to read. When people use stupid thread names like "I Have a question" or "Need a place to live" it doesn't really help anyone.
