Freehold, Wall, maybe some place in Ocean county.

We may also be comparing apples to oranges in the way of wages as well, so perhaps we could afford a bit more if offered a position.

Look at homes in Keansburg or the surrounding Keyport area. That would be the most ideal for you with a quick and easy commute only 20-25 minute drive from your work. You will also be close to NYC bus, train, and ferry if you enjoy nights out in the city. Those towns have a nice real estate housing selection currently on the market, I'm sure you will find something you like there that is newly updated and move-in ready in your price range. Good luck
