Yeppers! It was a dance club. It was always a tad north for me but I will NOT deny that I have been there.

Hunka Bunka's! LOL!

I live near Belmar...IF I go to seaside it is a blue moon, because of the fact that it has too many tourists and to me it isn't the 'beach'. Luckily I live 5 min from the beach, so I go to AVON and enjoy the quiet, the boardwalk, and then there is the Column's which is nice for an older crowd....30-45 ish.....Bar A is getting better too. Pt Pleasant is ok....Ortley Beach and Lavalette are nice quiet areas. But Seaside is just a zoo to me.

During the week my 8 year old goes to bed at 8:30 during school and in the summer it kind of depends, no later then 10:00, that doesn't mean he is outside until 10.

If it works for your family that is fine, I think people just find it odd
Reading comprehension - or lack of it shows.

I'll make my kids stay up later, because you and JM find it odd (not to mention you both continue to miss ALL THE REASONS WHY I have stated that my kids do just fine with going to bed early.) Now back off and get back on topic before I tell you what I really think about people who let their kids run the streets/neighborhoods all summer long.

Ah, Bar A ... Now there was a meat market if I ever saw one. But great drunken fun, nonetheless!!!

As far as good places down the shore for those in the 30's. Did you say Avon-By-The-Sea was good? And what are the Column's??
