Default Another Ridgewood Question

Hi- yes- more questions re: Ridgewood. We are still looking at homes in Ridgewood and was wondering how the Travell School stacks up to the other elementary schools. I know, as most have mentioned, all schools are great in Ridgewood, but I know every district has it's more "desireable" schools. In visiting I am a bit confused how schools are zoned- would this be a school for the "lawns" neighborhood??? Are there overcrowding issues? I don't think the house we looked at was in "lawns" (not that it matters much to us), but I was curious. thanks!

Ridge, Willard and Orchard are most desirable as they are on the west side of town (generally considered nicer than the east side, although the east side is pretty too!). Really all the schools are good, and feed into two middle schools and eventually one high school.

I never heard the term "the lawns" before but think it refers to the area near Hawes, not Travell. One negative I can see to travell would be construction if the expansion of Valley hospital goes through. Good luck.

Actually I think Hawes ranks as the best school in the district but am not 100% sure...and it is what serves the "Lawns" I believe.
