Lincoln Ave @ Ridgewood NJ (houses, area, children)

Hi, I really like a house I saw on Lincoln Ave @ Ridgewood. I don't know the area well but Lincoln Ave seems very busy. It's also at an intersection with a less busy road.

For those who are familiar with Ridgewood, shall I stay away or seek a deep discount? It's asking for close to 1.9M (0.7 acres) while all the other houses (albeit not as nice or large) on Lincoln Ave are going for half that.

Is that road busy all the time?

I wouldn't be too concerned. The house is huge and it is a bit off the road... Also Ridgewood is quiet town in general. Unless you fear for your small children constantly running out of front door to play on the main road...

If windows are good, the isolation should do the trick as well.

Ridgewood is great town and we love it here.
