We are thinking of buying in Readington but someone had mentioned that the schools aren't that great and also the concern of it getting built up in the future? Any advice? how is the traffic on 202? where do you mostly do your shopping? how is the commute ito nyc and how long does it take? thanks i can't take the final step without your help

I like Clinton Twp. It is the next town over from Readington.Their schools are great and depending on where you are commuting to, and the commute times I really can't speak about traffic. It's all about timing. You're about 1.5 hours to NYC.

Readington is a very nice community but it is just outside the area for an easy commute to NYC. Bridgewater is about the furthest West on I78 for an easy commute. If you don't mind traffic on the way to work Readington could be a great place to live. Just stay clear of Solberg airport. Plenty of shopping on rt 202, Wegmans, Home Depot etc, etc, and Flemington is only about a 15 minute ride.
