Default Berkeley Heights - My new home?

My husband and I are moving from Chester, NJ to be closer to his job in Madison. We fell in love with one of the first houses we looked at.

We just made an offer and had it accepted on a home in Berkeley Heights. And while we've driven around the area, it's just not the same as having lived there. Tell me the good and the bad about my new town, will you please? I've got 3 days before it's a done deal. Have I overlooked something? I'm excited but nervous. Thanks!!!

Maybe I need to prime the pump a little. I'd like to know about neighboring communities as well (Scotch Plains, New Providence, Summit, Westfield, Plainfield, whatever else) and we'd like to know about colleges, grocery stores, bookstores, organic foods. This and that.

I just saw a house listed in BH, really nice house. They even have a link for the floor plan... link if you'd like to look - it is not my house.

I wouldn't mind moving to the area, it's nice.

I personally have a few friends that live in the area and they couldn't be happier.

Don't think Scotch Plains measures up to BH in my opinion.

Congrats on the purchase!

A good friend of mine lives in BH. Bought a bi-level there about 7 years ago. Recently did an extensive addition after the birth of his second child. He loves it there.
